We spend a lot of money while doing a degree course and it forms the base of our career. However, these days, the market keeps on changing. Do you update yourself by doing a certification or some training, as per market demands? If so, how often?
I agree that education has become quite costly these days. I had to spend a fortune in gaining my MBA. I think for now I am fine. However, in future I will definitely go for training or skill enhancement if I feel that it will help me in getting a better job.
I am in IT field and I think it is important to enhance my skills, at least every 3 years by passing a certification course. However, just getting the certification is not enough. We should have the knowledge to back the certification.
